It’s not really about the money
What your money fear is actually pointing to—and how to meet it with love
What if your fear around money... isn’t about money at all?
Hey there,
I’ve been noticing something in the air lately — a quiet undercurrent of tension around money.
Not just the practical kind, like “Will I be okay?”
But the deeper kind:
“What does this mean for me?”
“What if things change?”
“Am I still safe?”
If any of that feels familiar, you’re not alone. And you’re not doing anything wrong.
It’s something I’ve seen come up again and again — especially during times of transition or uncertainty.
This is an invitation to pause.
To soften.
To ask: What’s really underneath this fear?
Because here’s what I’ve learned:
Fear around money is rarely just about money.
It’s about what money has come to represent:
Worth
Safety
Control
Freedom
Belonging
So when finances feel shaky, the fear that surfaces isn’t just logistical — it’s deeply personal.
It touches something tender.
It stirs questions about identity, trust, and stability.
Most of us were never taught how to meet those needs directly.
So we learned to project them onto money — believing that if we just made or had enough, we’d finally feel secure, valued, and free.
But...
Money was never meant to carry that kind of weight.
What’s often underneath money fear… is an unmet need.
And when you meet that need directly, something begins to shift.
You might realize you’re not actually needing more money —
You’re needing reassurance.
Or rest.
Or the sacred reminder that your worth has never been conditional.
This is where your higher self — the part of you that already remembers — can help.
Ask it to meet you.
Ask it to remind you who you really are.
Offer yourself the energy you’ve been seeking from the outside.
Safety.
Trust.
Belonging.
You can breathe that back into your body — and let it settle.
When those needs are met from within, money loses its emotional grip.
You begin to move with clarity instead of fear.
You relate to money as a resource — not a reflection of your value.
And just to be clear — this isn’t about bypassing the practical.
It’s about being honest about what’s actually driving the fear.
A simple practice for when money fear arises:
1. Get curious:
What am I really afraid of?
What part of me doesn’t feel safe right now?
What am I asking money to give me that I can begin to offer myself?
2. Meet the need:
Instead of outsourcing it — call the energy inward.
Breathe in reassurance.
Breathe in love.
Breathe in safety.
Let your higher self hold you.
Let yourself feel the shift.
This is how your relationship with money begins to change —
Not through hustle or scarcity,
but through presence, compassion, and self-trust.
Because money was never meant to carry your safety, identity, or worth.
Those needs?
They’re not financial.
They’re emotional.
They’re spiritual.
And when you tend to them directly:
• You return to yourself.
• You move with clarity.
• You act from trust.
You stop asking money to do what only love can.
And in that space,
you begin to reshape your relationship with money — from the inside out.
With love,
Tiffany
